Is this for complete beginners?
No. Laura works best with intermediate to upper-intermediate learners who already have a foundation and want to break through to real fluency and confidence.
What if I'm nervous?
Completely normal. The first lesson is low-stakes by design. Errors are noted quietly in the doc, never called out mid-sentence. Most students say within 20 minutes they forgot to be nervous.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing. Just show up. A stable internet connection and your voice is enough. Laura prepares everything — the material, the structure, the Google Doc.
How often should I have lessons?
Once a week minimum. Twice a week accelerates progress dramatically. Consistency matters more than frequency.
What time zones work?
Laura works with students across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Scheduling is very flexible.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. 24 hours notice is appreciated. Life happens — Laura is flexible and responsive.

Common questions about coaching

Do I need to be at a certain English level before we work together?+

No. I work with intermediate to advanced learners who want their English to feel like theirs — fluent, expressive, alive. If you can hold a conversation, we can refine the music underneath it.

Are sessions online or in person?+

Everything is online — worldwide. We use video calls so you can be anywhere with a steady connection.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?+

Sessions are 60 minutes. Most students meet once a week. Some go intensive — two or three times a week before a deadline, exam, or job interview.

Do you teach business English, exam prep, or creative voice?+

All three, but my heart is in creative voice — helping you sound like yourself in English, not like a textbook. We still cover IELTS, CEFR work, and pitch-deck English when you need it.

What if I have to cancel a session?+

Give me 24 hours notice and we just reschedule, no charge. Last-minute cancellations get one freebie, then it counts as a used session.

How do I book?+

Through the Contact page. Send me a short note about where you are with your English and what you want to change. I'll write back within two days.
